last night i dreamt of dying
my leaden body anchored to the unreality of
fighting for a few more minutes while my
eyes just ached for rest

i woke while i inevitably slept and
wondered how i’d managed to
survive
was it i who passed or
i who sat up in bed on yet another
silent winter morning?

last night i actually did have a dream that i was dying and it was one of the weirdest things i've ever experienced. 
yaaaay i finally wrote another poem after who knows how long!! :iconlawooplz:
